Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson plans to hook up with Marilyn Manson in the studio, Ananova reports.
The pair are in talks to record a song together, which they hope to release early next year.
Manson said that both her and the shock rocker feel the duet would be "a riot."
"I saw Marilyn at the weekend and we are still talking about it," Manson told Scotland's Daily Record. "We both know it will produce something special."
Earlier this year, the 37-year-old singer feared her music career was over. During a world tour where she often lost her voice mid-concert, the singer discovered a cyst on her right vocal chord.
She underwent vocal surgery in June, and has since made a full recovery. Garbage are currently in the studio working on new material.
The Edinburgh-born Manson will next take part in the MTV Europe Music Awards this Thursday, presenting an award in her Scottish hometown.
