Despite polite requests that he get out of Cambodia, glam rocker Gary Glitter has ignored appeals from officials and intends to stay in Phnom Penh.
The AFP news agency reports that Glitter has snubbed appeals from Cambodian authorities to voluntarily leave the country, and has indicated he intends to stay, despite a public outcry against the singer -- who was convicted on child porn charges in Britain in 1999.
