Portrait of a punk: A skinheaded misfit from society, the punk is a bad influence on the youth of today. He is prone to spitting, making lewd gestures and screaming obscenities - then there's his behaviour while performing. Worst of all, the typical punk is out of touch with reality.
These are just a few of the misconceptions about punk rock, arguably the smartest and most socially aware form of rock music around. (Let's just ignore the irony that many punk lyrics are rendered unintelligible by distorted guitars.)
