The latest big new thing from Paper Bag Records, Hawaii is a band featuring former Bodega and Bionic bass player Sam Goldberg and singer Samantha Terry.
The two Sams have contrasting but complementary songwriting styles, and their self-titled debut album is a near-perfect combination of her breathy soprano and his laid-back whisper. Goldberg says Hawaii is also a happy medium between the styles of his two former bands.
