Country superstar Faith Hill delivered an early Christmas present to husband Tim McGraw: a baby girl.

Audrey Caroline McGraw entered the world on Thursday at 4:39 p.m., Nashville time, the couple announced on .

Mother and daughter are resting comfortably at an undisclosed Tennessee hospital.

"Maggie, Gracie, Tim and I couldn't be happier", said Hill, referring to her two other daughters. "To be blessed with a beautiful healthy baby girl -- what a way to kick off the holiday season for us".

Added McGraw, "I'm still king of the house, and my girls will always keep me in line. I couldn't be happier".
