Hole singer Courtney Love is forming a "femme punk supergroup" and plans to record an album for release by the punk indie label Epitaph.
In a brief announcement posted at Hole's website (www.holemusic.com), Love said she expects the album will be "a really fun one-off," but beyond that, few details are available.
A representative with Epitaph Canada confirmed that the label and Love have reached an agreement to distribute the record, but beyond that, no details about personnel, material or release dates are known.
Meanwhile, Love's battle to extract herself from her contract with the Vivendi Universal conglomerate continues in court. (More on Hole)
