I Mother Earth won two of the three available CASBY awards last night at a ceremony sponsored by Toronto radio station 102.1 The Edge at the Danforth Music Hall.

The Toronto band won for favorite new release for Scenery And Fish, and favorite new song for One More Astronaut.

Vancouver's Limblifter, meanwhile, took home the award for favorite new artist.

CASBY stands for Canadian Artists Selected By You, meaning fans decided the winners through balloting.
