They came in droves from the ghettos of Glenora, the 'hoods of Highlands and even from south-central itself - sometimes called Old Strathcona. They came to see the original gangster: Ice-T, in concert at the world's biggest rec room in the world's biggest mall located in the middle of what might be the world's biggest suburban wasteland.
In other words, the irony was so thick you could have cut it into logs and built yourself a cabin.
