Album Review: Iron Maiden

BRAVE NEW WORLD
By MIKE ROSS

BRAVE NEW WORLD
Iron Maiden
EMI

While they're looking more like their skeletal mascot Eddie every year, the recently re-formed Iron Maiden still has creative energy. On a heavy metal gothic fantasy bearing more resemblance to Spinal Tap than Rob Zombie, these rusting metalmen come across like the brave vikings of old - the last of their kind. You know they'll rock hard to the bitter end.

Track Listing 1. The Wicker Man
2. Ghost Of The Navigator
3. Brave New World
4. Blood Brothers
5. The Mercenary
6. Dream Of Mirrors
7. The Fallen Angel
8. Nomad
9. Out Of The Silent Planet
10. The Thin Line Between Love And Hate

Total Time: 66:57
