BLUEPRINT
Jet Set Satellite
(Nettwerk)
This Winnipeg band was so green that it didn't have a name - or even a full band - when it was signed to the label that Sarah McLachlan built. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that some of the songs on its debut album sound like trendy rock filler hastily groomed for hit radio. The good news: there are more winners where Best Way To Die came from, like the hard-driving Goodbye Letter, to name just one.
If this is just the blueprint, the finished product should be a beautiful thing.
