Ask George Jones.

George is the proud owner of a new Ford 350 pickup truck and he can thank pal Alan Jackson for the monthly payments.

Alan, the new spokesman for Ford Trucks, did such a slick sell job on Jones, the legend headed to the nearest dealership and drove home a new truck.

"You can credit my friend Alan Jackson with his first sale," George wrote in a letter to the Ford Motor Company.

At least Jackson has something to fall back on if this country music thing doesn't work out.
