The Kingpins are coming off a lengthy European tour that took drummer Mike G, guitarist Chris "Raz," sax-man Dan "the Swiss Knight," bassist Daryl and vocalist Lorraine "the Queen of Ska" through Italy, Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland. Vocalist and saxophonist Lorraine Muller took on all the driving duties as the only licensed member, but being behind the wheel took its toll.
"Halfway through the tour I felt exhausted and had to cancel one show," Muller told me via e-mail from Montreal. "I lost my voice after getting sick following a 20-hour drive from Rennes, France to Hamburg, Germany."
