Former Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler is celebrating the birth of a baby daughter, Ananova reports.

Katya Ruby Rose, his fourth child, was born Tuesday to Knopfler and his third wife Kitty Aldridge. They already have a five-year-old daughter, Isabella.

"Katya and Kitty are doing fine and everyone is delighted with the new addition to the Knopfler household," said a spokeswoman for the singer.

Knopfler, 54, also has 16-year-old twin sons, Benjamin and Joseph, from a previous marriage.
