Diana Krall swings her way to No. 1.

Canadian chanteuse Diana Krall jazzed her way to the top of the Canadian album charts with her new collection of standards.

Her album "From This Moment On," the follow-up to 2004's "The Girl in the Other Room," debuted at No. 1 with sales of over 26,000 copies, according to figures compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.

It edged out Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" (24,000), which fell to No. 2 after premiering at No. 1 last week.

"From This Moment On," her third chart topper, beat the first-week sales of 2001's "The Look of Love," which racked up 30,000 copies in its debut week in September of 2001. Her high-water mark continues to be "The Girl in the Other Room," which had 37,000 in sales back in May of '04.

Meanwhile, French artist Jean Leclerc had a sunny first week at No. 3 with "Mexico" (22,000), Fergie's solo debut "Dutchess" came in at No. 4, and John Mayer's "Continuum" slipped three positions to No. 5.

Clay Aiken's "Thousand Different Ways" premiered at No. 6, James Blunt's "Back To Bedlam" moved up one notch to No. 7, and Nelly Furtado's "Loose" re-entered the top 10 at No. 8.

Bob Dylan's "Modern Times" sank five spots to No. 9, and Crazy Frog's "More Crazy Hits" remained at No. 10 for a second consecutive week.

Other notable debuts include Elton John's "The Captain & the Kid" at No. 12, Sloan's "Never Hear the End of It" at No. 29, Julio Iglesias' "Romantic Classics" at No. 30, Kenny Chesney's "Live Those Songs Again" at No. 35, Lupe Fiasco's "Food & Liquor" at No. 36, Chingy's "Hoodstar" at No. 40, and Jesse McCartney's "Right Where You Want Me" at No. 44.

In the U.S., Justin Timberlake remained at No. 1, followed by Clay Aiken in second, Fergie in third, Kenny Chesney in fourth, and John Mayer in fifth.
