OK, maybe it's a little early. This retro-loving soulman is capable of writing the perfect rock song - as Are You Gonna Go My Way attests. But there aren't quite enough such excellent tunes to fill an entire record - and no, we never need to hear his version of American Woman again! Agh! OK, calm down ... Otherwise, this would've been the perfect greatest hits set. Oh, well. You can't have everything.
