CALGARY -- In a recent episode of The West Wing, President Bartlet, played by Martin Sheen, summed up how he felt about contemporary classical music with one succinct and very unpresidential proclamation: "Modern music sucks."
Though most people wouldn't necessarily put it that way, a great many have a tough time digesting modern music because they find it -- like modern jazz -- challenging and intimidating.
