TORONTO -- With tracks by such Canadian superstars as Celine Dion, Sarah McLachlan, Joni Mitchell, Barenaked Ladies, and Neil Young, "Oh What A Feeling 2," the four-CD, 76-track box set of homegrown music released this week, has impressed Canada's retailers and record labels.
Produced by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Juno Awards, "Oh What A Feeling 2" is the sequel to CARAS's 1996 four-CD box set "Oh What A Feeling," which
commemorated the Junos' 25th anniversary. That set sold 250,000 units in its seven week market run -- more than any other box set in Canadian history -- and greatly heightened the awareness of Canadian music in this country.
