LL Cool J is to star in a remake of the '70s blaxploitation classic "Dolemite," Variety reports.
The 1975 original and two sequels starred comedian Rudy Ray Moore. In the remake, LL Cool J will play Dolemite as a trash-talking black entrepreneur who ends up in prison after a rival plants drugs in his nightclub. Upon his release, he finds out his nemesis is now dealing drugs out of the same club, the report said.
