STRONG HEART
Patty Loveless
Loveless stretches her boundaries to give us an uniquely arranged and fresh sounding album. While the change is much appreciated, not all of it works. You Don't Get No More falls fairly flat, as does Thirsty with Travis Tritt. On the other hand, there are some gems to balance things out. You're So Cool, is an interesting love song written by Matraca Berg and Alberta's Carolyn Dawn Johnson, who also sings backup. Berg's My Heart Will Never Break This Way Again and That's The Kind of Mood I'm In also fair well.
