Madonna plans to file a complaint with the British Press Complaints Commission over an inaccurate report in Heat magazine that she is pregnant, Reuters reports.
Liz Rosenberg, the 44-year-old's publicist, denied the report that claims Madonna's new hair colour and preference to baggy clothes signal the arrival of a third child.
"It's not true, it's not accurate," Rosenberg said. "She dyed her hair brown instead of blond, that does not confirm someone's pregnant. And she's been wearing baggy clothes for 20 years, so what else is new?" she said.
The rumours also revolve around the pop singer's recent move from her second home in London that the magazine attributed to medical consultations with her American doctors.
Rosenberg said Madonna was actually in Los Angeles to film a video for her new album "American Life," which will be released in April. "When people see that, they'll see for themselves she's not pregnant," the publicist said.
The British commission is a self-regulatory body that can investigate and reprimand papers for inappropriate behaviour, but has no legal power.
