THE DROWNED WORLD TOUR
Madonna
(Maverick / Warner)
Discs: 1.
The Main Course: A re-edited version of the two-hour concert broadcast on HBO this fall from Maddy's Detroit hometown.
Side Dishes: Well, you could call the re-edited bits new footage; and there's a photo gallery with the usual assortment of saucy pics.
Easter Eggs: Madonna has never been a gal who leaves much to the imagination.
Final Verdict: This was her first tour in eight years, and Music was her best album in about as long. So even though the gig isn't exactly mind-blowing -- the Matrix-style wire-work probably looked way cooler in person than it does on TV -- the set has enough hits to make it a decent historical document.
