For most of us musical types, a request to join a band led by Paul McCartney generally would be met with nothing more than a simple 'yes,' no questions asked.
That very opportunity came Frank Marino's way back in the early 1970s. But the Montreal guitarist, then 18, briefly pondered a future with McCartney's group Wings, rather than his own rock group, Mahogany Rush, before turning down the request.
