Artist: Manic Street Preachers


Body parts, shoes don't belong to missing Manics
Decomposed body parts and a pair of running shoes found in the River Severn near where Manic Street Preacher Richey Edwards went missing have been ruled out as having any connection to the AWOL rocker.

Britain's New Musical Express reports that police in Gwent have determined that the running shoes and feet discovered by fisherman in the river were in fact manufactured in 2001.

Possible clues found in Manic's disappearance
Police in Wales are investigating whether body parts recovered by fisherman may be a clue in the disappearance of Manic Street Preachers' Richey Edwards.

The BBC reports that fishermen in the Severn Estuary near discovered the body parts, as well as size-eight Diadora running shoes, on the weekend. Police in Gwent have contacted Edwards' family, along with the relatives of other missing persons, in an attempt to identify the remains.
