Here's a good benchmark for all struggling bands: When you start having fans in places you've never even been to, you're probably on the right track.
That's what happened to the Philadelphia-based quartet Marah (pronounced Ma-RAW) recently. Prior to an upcoming show April 18 at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern, the nearest they've ever been to Canada is Maine. But at a recent Pittsburgh gig, they met up with a bunch of fans from Toronto who had travelled down to catch Marah in action.
