I'm sick to death of death metal, I can't stomach any more rap-rock, I've had my fill of punk-pop, I'm still not sure what "emo" is but I don't like the sound of it (sensitive punk-pop, apparently; no thanks) and I am completely fed up with any style of music whose name ends with the word "core."
I prefer the whole apple. Please, give me a straight-ahead rock band that doesn't need terms like rap-rock, punk-pop, emo or core, something simple, something you can jump up and down to and not care when you spill your beer, something that aims not for the brain, but somewhere lower in the anatomy.
