Canadians had an big appetite for Meat Loaf on the Canadian album charts this week.

The 59-year-old singer's "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose" had the biggest debut of the week, checking in at No. 3 with just under 10,000 in sales.

It marks his best ever SoundScan chart placement, according to figures compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.

Closer to the top, Gregory Charles' "I Think of You" (23,000) was locked in at No. 1 for a third consecutive week, and My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" (10,000) held firm at No. 2 in its second week of release.

Sarah McLachlan's' "Wintersong" and Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" both rebounded two spots to No. 4 and No. 5, while Rod Stewart's "Still the Same... Great Rock Classics of Our Time" went the other way, dropping from No. 4 to No. 6.

The Tragically Hip's "World Container" fell four positions to No. 7, the Killers' "Sam's Town" sank three to No. 8, and Evanescence slipped one to No. 9.

The Who's first full-length disc in 24 years, "Endless Wire," had the second best debut of the week, coming in at No. 10.

Other notable debuts included the Deftones' "Saturday Night Wrist" at No. 13, Barry Manilow's "The Greatest Songs of the Sixties" at No. 15, "Country Heat 2007" at No. 22, Tom Cochrane's "No Stranger" at No. 25, "Z103 Streetmix 2K7" at No. 27, "Women & Songs 10" at No. 28, and Lady Sovereign's "Public Warning" at No. 43.

In the U.S., the soundtrack to Disney's "Hanna Montana" remained at No. 1, followed by Barry Manilow in second, Birdman and Lil Wayne's "Like Father, Like Son" in third, John Legend in fourth, and Justin Timberlake in fifth.
