Michael visit on hold
By JOHN SAKAMOTO
Remember that mini-tour of intimate venues George Michael was planning because he didn't want to make the rounds of huge, impersonal arenas?

Well, never mind.

Turns out Michael has decided to postpone his seven-date North American jaunt - which was to have kicked off at Massey Hall in February with a benefit for the Hospital for Sick Children - and opt for a full-blown mega-tour instead.

Michael now plans to hit the road in late '91 after the release of Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 2.

The latest word is that Michael will probably play Toronto - although at a much larger venue - and that proceeds will still go to Sick Kids.
