Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite doesn't seem the competitive type. However, news that his Glasgow space-rock band's gig tonight at the Horseshoe happens to coincide with the Alanis Morissette/Tori Amos show across town at the Molson Amphitheatre has the guitarist-singer bristling.
"They're gonna f--- our gig!" Braithwaite gasps, dripping sarcasm, over the phone from Mogwai headquarters recently. "We're gonna stiff with those ladies in town!
