Rick Moranis
The Agoraphobic Cowboy
(ADA/Warner)
Ever wonder what happened to SCTV's Rick Moranis? Nah, us neither.
Anyway, for anyone who does, here's the short answer: He suffered some sort of severe head injury that left him with no sense of humour -- or common sense.
At least, that's the only reason we can think of for why Moranis would make the uninspired, unfunny and virtually unlistenable Agoraphobic Cowboy, a thuddingly lame collection of lightweight country comedy ditties with titles like Oh So Bucco and lyrics like, "I ain't goin' nowhere, man ... I'm cuttin' my own hair, man." Well, he's half right, anyway.
Bottom line: The only person who's going to appreciate The Agoraphobic Cowboy is Eugene Levy -- because it's going to make his recent career choices look like strokes of genius.
