Alanis set for Hall of Fame

Alanis Morissette will be inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and will receive a lifetime achievement award at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on March 7.

The honours will be handed out during the Canadian Radio Music Awards, which are part of Canadian Music Week taking place March 5-8.

In other Morrissette news, tix, $85.50, $69.50 & $49.50, for the previously announced Matchbox Twenty/Alanis Morrissette show at the Air Canada Centre on Feb. 22 go on sale Friday at the ACC box office (no first-day sales), Ticketmaster, by phone at 416-870-8000 or online at ticketmaster.ca. Meanwhile, Nashville quartet MuteMath have also been added to the lineup.
