Ottawa native Alanis Morissette has Tweeted out the first photo of her newborn son.

Morissette posted the image of her with husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway and Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway via her Twitter page. The message accompanying the photo reads "amazing."

The image shows she and Treadway cradling the infant, who appears to be gazing up at them.

Morissette, 36, and Treadway married in 2010. Ever was born on Christmas Day.
