Van Morrison is looking for a director to make a biographical documentary about his career.
Variety.com reports the singer-songwriter is interested in a feature along the lines of Martin Scorsese's Bob Dylan film, "No Direction Home."
"I have all this material collected and I realized we weren't getting past 1968," he said in the article. "We were really squeezing everything in. It was getting very complicated and I realized, 'I need someone to collaborate with,' so I just put it all aside for now."
Morrison must have movies on his mind -- he recently released "Van Morrison at the Movies: The Soundtrack Hits" Feb. 13.
