 Brit rockers Muse enter at No. 1 in Canada.

British alternative rock band Muse are having quite a year so far.
They are opening up a handful of dates on U2's North American tour next month, they have a song on the upcoming and highly-coveted "Twilight" film soundtrack, and now they have the No. 1 album in Canada.
Their fifth studio album, "The Resistance," shot to the top of the charts, selling over 14,000 copies in the last week, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
Already superstars in Europe, it marks the first No. 1 disc for Muse on this side of the pond. Their last effort, 2006's "Black Holes and Revelations" entered in at No. 11.
Muse’s big entry sent Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" (13,000) down to No. 2, after just one week at No. 1.
After a highly publicized appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Whitney Houston moved up two spots to third with '"I Look to You" (10,000) while metal gods Megadeth premiered at No. 4 with their new studio album "Endgame."
The Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies)" dropped two notches to No. 5, Jean-Pierre Ferland's "Bijoux de Famille" sank four to No. 6, and Kings of Leon's "Only By the Night" occupied the No. 7 slot.
The rest of the top 10 was rounded out by the debut of Champion's "Resistance" (yes, two premieres with the same title), Johnny Reid's triumphant CCMA night sent his latest disc "Dance With Me" up 11 to No. 9, and David Guetta's "One Love" moved down two to No. 10.
In the U.S., Jay-Z remained first with almost 300,000 in sales, followed by Whitney Houston in second, Muse in third, Kanye West protege Kid Cudi's "Man on the Moon: The End of Day" in fourth, and Miley Cyrus' "The Time of Our Lives" in fifth.
CHART NOTE: Pearl Jam's "Backspacer" debuted at No. 14 in Canada, but keep in mind that it was released (strangely) on Sunday, giving it only one day of tabulations.
