It all started with the F-word. Nashville Pussy's jolly lead screamer Blaine Cartwright wasn't always a hairy 38-year-old, horny and lewd as a squat demon in a nunnery. (The band plays the Rev tomorrow, incidentally.)
"I was in the second grade. I was smart," Cartwright laughs, "so I was in a class of third graders. I remember it very well. This guy was older than me and he did this little hand thing: 'See my pinky, see my thumb. See my peace sign, minus one.' He was giving me the finger. I walked home and asked my mom, 'What does f--- mean?' She was making chocolate pudding. She dropped the spoon on the floor.
