Stipe, Diddley guest on Dolls disc

REM frontman Michael Stipe, rock 'n' roll pioneer Bo Diddley and punk rock legend Iggy Pop are among the guests on the New York Dolls' new album, Billboard.com reports.

The Dolls first studio album in 32 years, titled "One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This," will feature 13 new tracks including Stipe's appearance on "Dancing on the Lip of a Volcano," Diddley lends his vocals to "Seventeen" and Pop is heard on "Gimme Love and Turn on the Light."

The album is due in stores July 25.

Original members David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain will embark on a North American tour this summer joined by guitarist Steve Conte, bassist Sami Yaffa, drummer Brian Delaney and keyboardist Brian Koonin.

Concert dates have yet to be announced.
