Nickelback rode their new album "Dark Horse" all the way to No. 1 on the Canadian charts this week.
The Alberta rockers exploded to the top on sales of just under 60,000 copies, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.
It marks the fourth straight No. 1 album for the group -- "All the Right Reasons" (60,000 copies sold) did it in October of 2005, "The Long Road" (45,000) accomplished the feat in October of 2003, while "Silver Side Up" (43,000) hit No. 1 in September of 2001.
Meanwhile, Il Divo's new effort "Promise" (24,000) came in at No. 2, AC/DC's "Black Ice" (18,000) slipped one spot to No. 3, and the compilation "MuchDance 2009" moved from No. 3 to No. 4.
After one week at No. 1, Taylor Swift's "Fearless" drops down to No. 5, Enya's "Winter Came" came down two to No. 6, and Beyonce's double set "I Am Sasha Fierce" premiered at No. 7.
The rest of the top 10 was as follows: the "High School Musical 3" soundtrack at No. 8, Dido's "Safe Trip Home" at No. 9, and the "Twilight" soundtrack at No. 10.
In the U.S., Beyonce placed first, followed by Nickelback in second, David Cook's self-titled album in third, Taylor Swift in fourth, and Il Divo in fifth.
