Cryptic websites, hidden clues, creepy e-mail and phone messages, leaked MP3s on USB drives hidden in bathrooms at NiN shows -- it all makes that online Lost Experience seem like Tic-Tac-Toe.

Thankfully, Reznor's latest DVD is a lot easier to fathom. But it's just as dark, dramatic and impressively massive. Live: Beside You in Time has a stunning, high-voltage 90-minute set from the band's 2006 winter tour, captured on high-def digital video.

There's an eye-popping light show, a set list that balances hits like Closer, Hurt and Head Like a Hole with fare from 2005's With Teeth, and a full-throttle, violently intense performance by the buff, buzzcut Reznor and co. Extras include five songs from the summer tour -- with a different but equally stylish light show -- along with rehearsal footage, subtitles, videos, a photo gallery and a discography with audio and video samples.

There don't seem to be any hidden clues about Year Zero -- but that's probably because we're too busy marvelling at the show to comb our bathroom for a hidden USB drive.
