Enigmatic singer Sinead O'Connor has dropped out of most of this summer's gay-themed festival tour Wotapalava for unspecified family reasons.
Livedaily.com reports the singer was contracted to be on hand for the full tour, which also includes performances by Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell, Magnetic Fields and Rufus Wainwright.
But O'Connor, who is leaving the tour for "unforeseeable family commitments," is now in talks with organizers to play only "select engagements" on the tour, the report said.
The tour's only Canadian date is July 27 at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre.
