Artist: Oasis

Oasis announces Toronto date

As rumoured in last Saturday's Sun, battling British brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher will indeed return to Toronto for an Oasis gig on June 17 at the Molson Amphitheatre.

Special guests are Aussie rockers Jet for Oasis' first show in T.O. since 2002.

American Express cardmembers can start purchasing tickets, priced at $47.50 for reserved seats and $19.50 for lawns, today at 10 a.m. at 416-870-8000 or ticketmaster. ca.

The public on-sale starts Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone or online with any remaining tickets available at the Molson Amphitheatre box office starting May 21. Oasis's new album is due in stores May 17.

In other concert news:

  • Swedish rockers Soundtrack Of Our Lives play an early show at The Guvernment on March 26 with tix, $25.75, on sale Thursday at Ticketmaster, Rotate This, Sonic Temple or by phone. SOOL have a new album, Origin Vol. 1, due in stores on March 15.

  • Contemporary crooner Michael Buble visits the Hummingbird Centre on May 24-25 with tix, $74.50 (a limited number of gold circle), $64.50, $54.50, and $42.50, available Friday at the Hummingbird Centre box office, Ticketmaster, by phone at 416-872-2262 or online at ticketmaster.ca or hob.ca.

    Buble's new album, It's Time, is in stores today.

    n Indie outfit The John Butler Trio pull into Lee's Palace on Feb. 24 with tix, $14.50, on sale now at Ticketmaster, Rotate This, Sonic Temple or by phone or online at ticketmaster.ca or hob.ca.
