Welcome to another wacky and wonderful World at Winspear event.
Our guest today is Burhan Ocal, leader of the Istanbul Oriental Ensemble, playing tonight at the Winspear Centre. They'll perform Turkish music from the 17th and 18th centuries - the sort one might hear at a gypsy caravan stopped for the night as weary travellers put their feet up. And no, that's not why they called it the Ottoman Empire.
