There are still a few things we can count on in pop music. One, as Ottawa's clubgoers well know, is the '80s refuse to die. Another is a young band that comprises five fetching females is guaranteed a certain amount of attention.
Nonetheless, Jenny Smyth, whose instrument of choice lends its name to the Vancouver-based band The Organ, claims to have been unprepared for a recent article seen in papers from Vancouver to Ottawa, proclaiming The Organ a bona fide "next big thing."
