Our Lady Peace hits the road

Our Lady Peace are getting back to the grind.

The veteran Canadian rockers will return to the road next month on their Urban Grind Tour, hitting clubs in 10 Canadian cities along with several American venues.

Raine Maida and co. will bang the drum for their upcoming Curve album on the tour, which begins March 29 at London’s Concert Theatre and ends April 19 at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom. See below for a complete list of Canadian dates, cities, venues.

Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday Feb. 10 at Ticketmaster and will set you back about $50 including fees and taxes. Vancouver garage-rock duo The Pack A.D. are the opening act.

OLP’s eighth album Curve is due online and in stores April 3. Their first single Heavyweight was released shortly before Christmas. Other tracks on the disc include If This is It, As Fast as You Can, Window Seat, Find Our Way Home, Mettle, Rabbits, Allowance and Fire in the Henhouse.

Maida and his wife Chantal Kreviazuk will also be honoured this spring with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award to recognize their efforts on behalf of charities such as War Child. The ceremony will take place in Toronto during Canadian Music Week in late March.
