Les Claypool unsure of Primus' future
VANCOUVER -- Energized by his collaboration with former Police drummer Stewart Copeland and Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, madcap bassist Les Claypool reveals that he is putting Primus to rest for now.

"The past year has been a huge blossoming for me, playing with these incredible musicians, doing these projects and climbing these mountains," says Claypool during a quick interview before Oysterhead's first of only two Canadian shows. "If I put on Sailing the Seas of Cheese right now I'd get all teary-eyed and call those guys, but (Primus) needs to sit for awhile."

Phish-Police-Primus supergroup to play Canada
Oysterhead -- the supergroup drawing together members of Phish, The Police, and Primus -- has lined up a fall tour with two Canadian dates.

The trio includes Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, Primus bassist Les Claypool and Police drummer Stewart Copeland. They release their debut album, "The Grand Pecking Order," on Oct. 2. A single, "Mr. Oysterhead," is expected at radio in early September.
