Rod Piazza is as laid-back as they come, a California beach bum who's lucky enough to have his wife in his band. His forte is the harmonica and, just in case you didn't know this, those harps have lifespans that even flies would balk at.
"Usually, if you treat them right, I get a month out of them. They go flat, but they're all different. You can tune them a little, but I don't get too attached to them," said Piazza, who plays the blues fest tomorrow.
