Sure a lot of that has to do with genetics (Norwegian scientists recently isolated the Lester Bangs gene) as well as the annual trainwreck that is the Grammy Awards (by the way, my final cryptic Rosebudian words before I expire will be, 'Steely Dan why?'), but it's also because we're often allowed a glimpse at the ugly truth behind the music you hear.
