In a strange last-minute musical changes-of-heart, rockers Powerman 5000 have cancelled upcoming shows and returned to the studio to continue work on their next album -- 18 days before the record was due to arrive in stores.
On Friday, concert promoters House Of Blues Concerts Canada announced the group's scheduled Sept. 25 concert in Toronto has been cancelled, as has a Montreal show the night before, so that the group could return to the studio to continue working on their album, "Anyone For Doomsday," which is now scheduled for release in 2002.
