Montreal rocker Sam Roberts didn't quite crash the charts at No. 1, but he did make a healthy debut on the Canadian album charts.
Roberts' fourth full-length disc, "Collider," came in at No. 3 with sales of 7,000, according to figures gathered by Neiulsen SoundScan.
It's his first new material since 2008's "Love at the End of the World" (9,000) which entered the charts at No. 1 in May of 2008.
His other albums, 2006's "Chemical City" and 2003's "We Were Born in a Flame," checked in at No. 3, and No. 2, respectively.
Closer to the top, Adele's "21" (22,000) was locked and loaded at No. 1 for a fourth straight week, and Jennifer Lopez's latest effort "Love?" (10,000) remained at No. 2 in its second week of release.
There is seemingly no end in sight for Adele’s sophomore effort and her dominance will continue thanks to her current sold out North American tour.
Comedy troupe the Lonely Island - comprised of comedians Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone - had their sophomore disc "Turtleneck & Chain" premiere at No. 4, while Pascale Picard's "Letter To No One" came up one to No. 5.
The French compilation "Le Retour de Nos Idols" jumped up a remarkable 28 spots to No. 6, the Beasties Boys' "Hot Sauce Committee Part 2" slipped four notches to No. 7, and and Richard Desjardins' "L'Existoire" sank one to No. 8.
Wrapping up the top 10 was Christina Perri's "Lovestrong" at No. 9, and Marie-Elaine Thibert's "Je Suis" at No. 10.
In the U.S., Adele placed first for an eighth consecutive week, followed by "Now 38" in second, the Lonely Island in third, Christina Perri in fourth, and Tyler, the Creator's "Goblin" in fifth.
