Gentlemen, start your engines. And your amplifiers. Toronto's beloved Sadies rev it up and go, daddy, go on this instrumental soundtrack for filmmaker Ron Mann's Tales of the Rat Fink, a loving documentary about hot-rod artist Ed (Big Daddy) Roth.

Putting the pedal to the metal and burning rubber from the green light to the checkered flag, the boys cram 26 retrotastic blasts of surfadelic twang and thumping rockabilly boogie into 30 high-octane minutes.

And that literally ain't the half of it -- the band wrote more than 60 tunes for the project, only 28 of which were used in the film.

Here's hoping we get to hear a few more Tales before this race is over.
