Corgan's new band set to release CD
By JAM! Music

Billy Corgan and his new band are set to release their debut album in the new year, MTV.com reports.

Zwan's "Mary Star of the Sea" will float into Canadian stores on January 28, according to their label.

The album's first single "Honestly," can be previewed via their official web site.

Zwan made their live debut in 2001, a year after the Smashing Pumpkins disbanded.

The band is comprised of former Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, former A Perfect Circle bassist Paz Lenchantin, former Tortoise guitarist David Pajo and former Chavez guitarist Matt Sweeney. All five members share vocal duties.

Zwan hits the road this month in the U.S. for a handful of radio shows and samll venue appearances. There are no Canadian dates scheduled as yet.
