Snoop Dogg has again found himself in the pound.
The rapper was arrested in L.A. yesterday for illegally possessing a handgun and drugs while leaving The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, is expected to be arraigned Jan. 11, just one day before embarking on his Canadian tour, with a planned stop in Calgary at the Corral Jan. 18.
But border officials are not speculating if Broadus will face any trouble gaining access to the country.
"It's important to stress that a person who has criminality must apply for a temporary resident permit before they come to Canada," says Lisa White, a spokeswoman for the Canada Border Services Agency.
"Each case is determined based on its own merits."
Ryan Balaski from House of Blues Concerts says he has yet to hear any information regarding the tour, but remains optimistic.
